The Powerpeaks Road Racing cycling program is the endeavor of Coach Chaitanya Velhal who, started his illustrious career in endurance sports as a cyclist and has coached many national level and competing athletes for the last 10 years.
Road cycling is a very technical precision sport that involves very intense training and knowledge base for the athlete to compete at any level. The program will instruct the athlete in techniques, drills, nutrition, strength and conditioning, race strategy etc.
This is a very in-depth program that will require a huge commitment and effort from both the coach and the athlete. Well deserving athletes shall also have the opportunity to be recruited for the PowerPeaks Racing Team.
There are several kinds competition formats: Team Oriented races, Individual Time Trials, Stage races, Criteriums, Circuit Races and Team Time Trials.
